CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Here are some tips for washing clothes with sequins, glitter, rhinestones, beads, and stretchy fabrics:

1. It is best to hand wash these clothes and hang them to dry.

2. When washing, use cold water and a gentle cycle. Faster and hotter cycles can damage the fabric and cause fading, shrinking, or the loss of sequins, glitter, or rhinestones.

3. Avoid using fabric softener and bleach, as they can fade or wrinkle the sequins and glitter.

4. Before washing, zip up the garment and turn it inside out. This will help protect the sequins and reduce the chances of them coming off in the wash.

5. If the clothes are not heavily soiled, spot wash stains or use fabric freshener. Spot wash stains with soap and water in the sink, and hang the garment to dry. If using a fabric freshening spray, only spray the inside of the garment to avoid fading the color of the fabric or sequins.

6. If you are unsure about washing the clothes yourself, consider taking them to a local dry cleaner. They will have the expertise to clean your dress and remove any stubborn stains from your party outfit.

7. Instead of using a tumble dryer, air dry the clothes. The fast spin of a dryer can cause sequins to come loose, and the high heat can lead to shrinking, fading, and increased release of microfibers. Hang the clothes up to dry instead.

8. Avoid ironing sequins, as they may melt. If you need to remove wrinkles, hang the clothes in the bathroom while you take a hot shower or use a clothes steamer. The steam will remove creases without risking damage to zippers, sequins, or fabric burns.
